Here are some interesting facts I learned this week. My son's class did an experiment with a microwave. First, they grew two small plants, then watered one from the tap, the other, they microwaved the water, cooled it and watered the second plant. I a very short time the second plant was dead.
I had always heard that microwaves were bad, but nowadays, everything is bad, or one day coffee is good, the next it's bad, soy is good, no, we take it back, it's bad. Who do you believe? I have to admit my microwave has gathered dust since my son told me that. How do I argue with a dead plant? I want to live and that didn't seem helpful, simple.
I'm realizing that sometimes we over simplify complex things like the human body for instance. I love to study the puzzle of symptoms and where they came from. It all starts with one thing, then, like dominoes lined up on edge, they crash into each other. We may only notice the one that flew off the table at the end and hit the dog on the head, but follow each one backwards and you find the starting point.Treating the last, annoying symptom is the fastest way to get yourself in trouble because you just shut off the body's alert system, the engine light in your car so to speak. If you cut the wire the annoyance goes away, then sometime later your car blows up.
Young people feel like they have some time to be stupid and fix it later. That used to be the case, but our soil is so depleted, our food is so much more processed, polluted and sugary than it used to be that deficiencies and their army of symptoms and disease are not kept at bay until your senior years but show up in your 20's and 30's sometimes younger.
I was doing some research on heart attack symptoms in women ,knowing that symptoms are unusual and survival rates for first heart attacks is low and found a great website built by a doctor. There he had testimonies of about 20 women. Of these women I was shocked that only two were over 60, most were in there 40's and many in their 30's and several in their 20's and one of those was pregnant. I didn't know that you can have a heart attack with no issues of cholesterol, plaque or arterial disease, but simply by having a spasm of the arterial walls caused by a imbalance of a acetylcholine. Here is an explanation of it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Acetylcholine.
Now I need to see why this would become imbalanced. I start as I would with a sick plant. First you give it pure water, check for bugs, give it the proper environment and food. Most plants can be cured this way. Humans are not that simple but it's still a great place to start.
I represent Pharmanex because I love their science, studies and validating proof on the safety and efficacy of their supplements. I also know people who have been consistently on the products for over 20 years and they are as healthy as someone half their age, again, the proof is in the pudding.
If anyone wants to look over the science let me know. There are some videos here, www.scan.nsproducts.com.
I'll keep you posted on my research,
Susan
